Accommodation


Luxury Rooms
These are tastefully furnished with King or Queen-size beds, wingback chairs, TV, mini bar, tea & coffee stations, air-conditioning. Three of the rooms have balconies and three have cozy garden patios. They all command magnificent views of the dam from their en-suite Jacuzzi/spa baths.

Honeymoon
Slightly larger than the luxury rooms, these suites are elegantly furnished with King size beds, lounge, T.V, mini bar, tea & coffee Stations, air-conditioning, balcony and Jacuzzi/spa bath, overlooking the water. One of the rooms has the most amazing Lounge, which overlooks both the water and mountains. With a complimentary aromatherapy bath basket to enjoy in the Jacuzzi/spa bath, you are sure to feel loved, whether it’s your honeymoon or not.

Bali Rooms
In the Bali house we offer 10 rooms, all tastefully decorated in that style. Two of the rooms have their own fireplaces (Great for winter snuggle ups). All rooms have unrestricted views of the dam, are air-conditioned, have a central honesty bar, tea and coffee stations and en-suite bathrooms.

Dining


Like all good Italians, we believe that food is the language of love and we slave over our hot stoves every day of the week to bring you truly decadent dining. Besides a hearty Italian-styled breakfast we offer a set three course menu in the romantic pool-side setting which is further enhanced with Belgium chocolate and Italian coffee.

For the ultra romantic we offer a private dining experience which is set aside from the main dining area with soft lighting and classical music (38 Proposals and counting).

Activities


We offer our guests a daily sunset cruise on board our very own launch boat “La Jennifer”. There is something magical about drifting silently over the water in the shadow of the majestic Magaliesburg Mountains. The area hosts an abundance of activities including the Elephant sanctuary; open vehicle game drives at Glen Afric, Galleries, markets, picnic’s at the cheese farm, Lesedi Cultural Village, horse and hiking trails or you could relax and rejuvenate at a nearby Spa.

Now this is the perfect venue for your next conference or corporate getaway. We will pamper and spoil you rotten, expect an unforgettable experience for you and your team. You will be luxuriously accommodated in 19 rooms and have 2 fully equipped air-conditioned conference rooms with a number of breakaway options at your disposal. At the end of each day, Paige, our Top chef will whip up the most amazing meals to temp your palate. Don’t forget to try his alfresco “Italian Table”, which is just the way the Italians like to eat. Then we will entertain you with our complementary “Fun Casino” evening.

DIRECTIONS:

From Johannesburg
From the concrete highway (NI) and take the Malibongwe (Former Hans Strydom) turn off going West at the traffic lights on to the R512. Pass Lanseria Airport. Continue on straight past the best chicken pies this side of the equator (Not a bad idea to stop and try one) and Lesedi Cultural Zulu Village lodge on your left. At the T – Junction stop turn Left towards Magaliesburg (Sasol garage on your left), carry on straight past Pecanwood Estate. Turn right at the Brits/Sun city R512 going over the Dam bridge. At the next T – Junction, turn right. About 4.5km on you will see the sign for Kosmos as well as our sign La Dolce Vita Guesthouse. Turn right into Kosmos. Follow the road past Caribbean Beach Estate and Falcon View, straight past the traffic circle and through the security gates. After the gate take the left fork into Coleman Street, you will go over two speed humps and then turn left into Becklake. Follow the road as it goes up over a speed hump and turns naturally to your right. We are the third house on your right. 105 Jocelyn Street, by the 3 big palm trees.

From Pretoria
Take the Platinum Highway (N4) towards Rustenburg. Take the ‘Brits/ Sandton’ turn off and turn left towards the mountains. Follow the road until you see a Sasol garage on your right hand side, turn right there. There is also a sign that says Rustenburg turn right. Follow this road passed Mount Amanzi and Castle Inn. When you reach the big four-way stop, go straight over it. Over Kommando Neck. Just on the other side you will see a turn off to your left marked ‘Kosmos’ Turn left there. Follow that road past Caribbean Beach Estate, and past Falcon View, straight over the traffic circle and through the security gates. Just through the gates the road splits – take the left split. Over two speed bumps and left onto Becklake street. Follow Becklake as it turns up and towards your right. We are the third house on your right hand side.
