The Guesthouse is based and run on colonial style and is managed and run by the owner. AccommodationBlue Hills Guesthouse consists of five en-suite bedrooms which are comfortably decorated with white percale linen and down duvets. All rooms are non smoking and are equipped with DSTV, a fan, coffee and tea making facilities, a hair dryer and desk. The rooms consist of two luxury rooms with bath and shower en suite, one standard queen room with shower en suite and two standard rooms with twin beds and showers en suite. A total of 10 guests can be accommodated at a time and special rates can be negotiated for group bookings. FacilitiesAn outdoor patio and boma area are available for entertaining and guests can also enjoy the indoor lounge with a fire place for those chilly evenings. A mini library and various games are available for those lazy weekends, and the guesthouse also offers its own WiFi connection. Each room is fitted with monitored panic buttons in case of an unexpected emergency, and undercover parking is offered in a secure area. We have a beautiful garden and pool area where guests are required to do nothing but relax and admire the birdlife and countryside. Guests can also enjoy the surrounding area which offers hiking trails and adventure activities such as the canopy tours, health spa and horse rides. Game drives and sun downer trips are also offered at an additional fee and need to be pre booked. Breakfast and DiningThe guesthouse offers a relaxing country setting with endless views of the surrounding countryside. Meals are served alfresco or indoors and are prepared from fresh ingredients grown on the property. We are often complimented on our excellent service and food. A full English breakfast is served daily under the lekkerbreek tree (weather permitting) or in the indoor dining area. Dinners are served by arrangement and consist of a three course set menu. Outdoor braais can also be arranged in our outdoor boma area where guests can enjoy the true African sky. Special occasions can also be catered for by pre arrangement. Blue Hills guesthouse prides itself in its 4 star grading from the grading council and tries to offer guests a true 4 star experience. DIRECTIONS: from Pretoria from N4 Take Buffelspoort offramp after toll turn left, proceed straight until you get to a stop / T turn right here. Go straight until you get to a 3 way stop turn left in the direction of Sparkling waters. Go straight on this road for Aprox 15km you will go down a very steep hill you will pass Rhenosterfontein bird sanctuary / country estate on your left , just after this you will see our board and a drum with K2 on it , turn left here and follow our signs. from Johannesburg on the R24 When coming in on R 24 you will pass Olifantsnek dam on your right , just after this you will get to a 3 way stop, turn right here this is the Oorsaak Road. Continue straight on this road for aprox 10km until you get to the Kromrivier road on your right the signs say Kromrivier / Sparkling Waters or Canopy Tours, turn right here. Approximately 2km on your left you will get a shop called Club 20, the 2nd dirt road after this shop on the right is our turn. Follow the signs. from Rustenburg Take N4 in Direction of Pretoria ,take the Kroondal offramp after toll gate turn right , cross over stop go straight for quite a way aprox 5km until you get the Watergat pub on your right turn right here the signs say Sparkling Waters / Canopy Tours go straight for 2.8km the first tar road to your left will say Kromrivier / Sparkling waters turn left here. Approximately 2km you will get a shop on the left called Club 20 the 2nd dirt road after this on the right is our road the sign says Blue Hills or K2 turn right here and follow our signs.
