Vergelegen Guesthouse & Restaurant is
situated on the outskirts of Kakamas on a beautiful farm setting - overlooking the
splendid vineyard of the Orange River Valley. Vergelegen Guesthouse is centrally situated
to explore a number of attractions and activities. En-route to Namakwaland, Richtersveld,
Kalahari and Namibia.
THE GUESTHOUSE: The Guesthouse offers 10 beautifully decorated and comfortable
en-suite rooms, each with a personal and exclusive touch. Rooms are air-conditioned and
are equipped with TV/M-net, tea and coffee making facilities, all linen & towels,
complementary amenity kit. A wholesome breakfast is served to last you the day. There is a
quaint courtyard with braai facilities and sparkling pool.
THE RESTAURANT & CONFERENCE CENTRE: On the premises you can dine in our
intimate a le carte restaurant which had numerous write-ups. Dine at the fireplace or
outside on the patio and enjoy a sundowner and hearty meal. A feast of cuisine to excite
everybody's tastebuds are prepared by our gourmet chef and personally served by the
owners. Fully licensed.

THE FARM STALL & TEA GARDEN: Our rustic styled farm stall offers a feast of
local produce, dried and fresh fruit. Relax in our tea garden with home made treats, light
lunches and our renowned ground coffee.
ATTRACTIONS & LANDMARKS: Vergelegen Guest house is the ideal stopover from
which to explore the Augrabies National Park, Riemvasmaak hot spring and local attractions
and activities. It's on your way to Namaqualand, the Kalahari Gemsbok Park (the Kgalagadi
Transfrontier National Park), the Richtersveld, Namibia, Fish river canyon and a number of
4x4 trails.
