Champagne Sports Resort has been striving to make this award winning resort the perfect place for work and play. This is a difficult balance to achieve but following recent developments we believe we have created a truly unique destination catering for all guest requirements in an absolutely spectacular setting.

The resort offers a variety of superb, fully serviced accommodation. The 152 hotel bedrooms are made up of twin rooms, family rooms, and various suites, all with well-appointed bedrooms and either mountain views or garden views.

The Champagne Sports Resort buffet experience is gaining a reputation for the large variety of wholesome and hearty dishes offered off our expanded buffets. We can now cater for up to 700 guests comfortably with little queuing.
Cathkin Arms Bar
Situated off the main dining room, Cathkin Arms is a popular meeting spot, especially on big sports days where a large screen TV broadcasts the action. The bar is open from 10h00 until late. No children under the age of 18 are allowed in Cathkin Arms after 19h00.

A basketball court is situated on the activity area in front of the hotel. A basketball can be hired from the sports co-coordinator.
BOWLS
A bowling lawn is situated on the activity area in front of the hotel with bowls and all other equipment available for hire from the sports co-ordinator.
CHILDREN'S PLAY PARK
A children's play area is situated in the activity area and has a selection of activities available for the kids including a jungle gym.
GYMNASIUM
The gym at Champagne Sports Resort is well equipped. The gymnasium is situated in the welness centre below the Ondini Centre.

VOLLEYBALL
Our Beach Volleyball court is situated near the main tennis courts on the lower activity area. The ball is available from the Sports co-ordinators desk.
Golf
Nestled within this spectacular leisure, conference and time-share resort is the magnificent clubhouse, which overlooks a hidden golfing masterpiece. The top 30 ranked championship golf course has been rated as SA's most beautiful golf course in recent years with the clubhouse rated in the top 5 19th's holes in SA.

The rooms available are in the Yellowwood block, 3rd wing of the hotel, furthest from facilities but still within walking distance. Approximately 200m away from facilities. Upstairs rooms have a view of the mountain but overlook the car park and ground floor rooms have a hedge in front then the car park, so no view of the mountain.;

Verified review
First time at Champagne Sports Resort which came as a recommendation from friends. Disappointing welcome greeting from reception staff on arrival. Room was very dated. Bathroom was more modern than the bedroom. Very surprised to find it all buffet style service. Other than the receptionist who greeted us on our arrival all other staff were extremely friendly. The views and scenery surrounding the hotel was spectacular and breathtaking. Most definitely the outside of the hotel along with the facilities are so much better than the inside.
