We have been satisfying the discerning traveller since February 1995. We are ideally suited to the business person, offering a very tranquil peaceful environment with an exceptional personal touch from your hostess, Maria. We also offer beautiful gardens for the holidaymaker to relax in between visits to the many attractions in and around Johannesburg. ACCOMMODATIONA Peaceful Retreat offers four double en-suite rooms, each with a television, tea and coffee making facilities, a large desk and access to a bar fridge and telephone. The communal guest lounge has hot and cold water, a microwave, crockery and cutlery suitable for self catering. To ensure our guest’s independence, the rooms have their own entrances and security gate opener, which means you can come and go at your own convenience. BREAKFASTMaria prides herself in providing a scrumptious full English breakfast. Because we are small we can cater to your specific needs. Weather permitting which is often in our superb Highveld climate we serve the breakfasts out under the large pin oak tree. FACILITIESGuests have access to the following facilities on the property: A Tennis court with flood lights A very sunny swimming pool There is also table tennis and darts available There is a beautiful water feature where one can relax with the peaceful sound of running water We are situated in a secure street with access only from one side and 24 hour security at this entrance. The guest lounge is suitable for business meetings. Access to a fax machine and internet is available for guests Plenty of secure parking available out of sight of the road.
