DESCRIPTION:

Like a majestic ocean liner, The Vaal Lookout guest lodge bestrides the shoreline of the pristine Vaal Dam, in the water sports resort of Deneysville, in the Free State, just an hour’s drive from Johannesburg, South Africa.

Established in the late 1930’s, when the Vaal Dam was built to serve the water needs of Johannesburg, the village is a mecca for the serious yachtsman, for water-skiers, jet skiers, canoeists, fishermen, bird watchers and astronomers.

The Vaal Lookout is designed to serve the needs of tourists, the corporate sector, water sports enthusiasts and those seeking a peaceful weekend retreat. It also makes a delightful base for visiting members of the horse racing fraternity, with the Vaal Racecourse being only 15 minutes away.
