Amarola consists of two semi-detached, family orientated bachelor cottages next to each other and situated a short distance from the village centre. Both can accommodate up to two adults and two children Self Catering AccommodationEach chalet can accommodate up to two adults and one child. Should guests want to accommodate an additional child, they are welcome to bring along a blow up mattress to place upstairs. There is a well equipped kitchenette with fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. A separate bathroom with both bath and shower completes the downstairs area. The upper mezzanine deck provides an additional play and sleeping area for two children. A single bed is provided but there is space for an additional mattress. There is a flat screen TV with DSTV in the lounge and in summer you can enjoy the outside patio with its table, chairs and baby Weber type braai. There are heaters and warm duvets for keeping snug and warm in winter. NotesRegret pets and smoking are not permitted. LocationAmarola is situated in the ‘Larola Section’ of the Clarens Village which is situated just over the Fouriesburg road, immediately opposite the new golf club. This is a secure and private area just 2 kilometers from the village center which has security guards at the two entrances to the complex during the hours of darkness. Above and behind the cottages is covered parking, numbered according to the respective units. ClarensClarens is fast becoming one of the most popular weekend ‘Getaway Destinations’ for South Africans and tourists alike due to its special ambience, its spectacular sandstone scenery, wonderful climate and close proximity to Gauteng, Durban and Bloemfontein. Clarens has a distinctive atmosphere which is enhanced by the village square adding a special ingredient to its unique character. DIRECTIONS: To reach ‘Amarola’ turn off the main road towards the village and then take the first road left -Sias Oosthuizen Street, which runs parallel to the main road you have just turned off. Pass the shops, the Post Office, Filling Station and Bakery and continue for about a kilometre until you see a big red ‘Coca Cola’ sign on the left saying ‘Cranford Inn.’ Just past that, on the left side of the road, is the first row of Cottages.
