Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Port Elizabeth to Knysna
We depart from Port Elizabeth in the morning and head towards the picturesque region of the Tsitsikamma Forest and Coastal National Park. Our first stop is for refreshments at the scenic Storms River Bridge. After stretching our legs, we continue on a short distance to the Big Tree. A short walk through the shaded serenity of the Tsitsikamma forest will take us to this awe inspiring 800 year old wonder. Our next destination is Knysna, but before we reach this charming Garden Route town, we stop to take in a stunning coastal view at an elevated lookout at Plettenberg Bay. A 20 minute drive on from Plett, we see Knysna nestled on the banks of a beautiful lagoon. We will spend the night here, taking time to absorb the great scenery and charming holiday atmosphere. While in Knysna, we have the option of taking a sunset cruise across the lagoon to the famous Knysna heads.

Day 2: Knysna to Oudtshoorn
Our first destination is the coastal town of Mossel Bay, but before getting there we take time enjoying all the Garden Route has to offer, as we travel through Sedgefield and the unique eco-system of the 5 lakes. When we reach Mossel Bay, we take a short tour around the historic town. Next on the agenda is a trip inland through the Robinson Pass. This will lead to our next destination, the Karoo town of Oudtshoorn. Here we visit an ostrich farm and maybe even ride an ostrich! We will spend the night in Oudtshoorn.

Day 3: Oudtshoorn to Cape Town
After a hearty breakfast we visit the world famous Cango Caves, and if requested the Cango Crocodile Farm. From there, we continue on our way to Cape Town via the quaint towns and wine routes of Barrydale, Montagu and Robertson, over the beautiful Du Toit's Kloof Pass and through the Paarl Valley.
