About your hosts

Umzantsi Afrika Tours has been in operation since 2002 and is run by Lyn and Peter Haller. Lyn is Operations Manager as well as a THETA (SATOUR) qualified and registered tour guide and is actively involved in the Nelson Mandela Bay Tourist Guide Association. She was born in South Africa, a descendant of German and British settlers and has a great passion for her country's fauna, flora and historical heritage.

Peter is an Austrian-born citizen who has been a resident in South Africa since 1969. He is a qualified, registered tour guide with THETA (ex SATOUR) and is fluent in both English and German. He has extensive experience in cultural, nature and geological/fossil tours.

Special Interest Tours

Our tours cover the whole of Southern Africa and neighboring states. Arrangements can be made for travelers with special interests such as bird-watching, Eco, architecture, star gazing, gardens and fossils.

Accommodation

Prices include Bed & Breakfast in 3 to 5 star hotels, or down to earth Bed & Breakfast establishments as well as Back Packers. We specialise in designing a tour specifically for you and your personal interests.
