The Powerade Drie Provinsies Marathon and 21.1km starts in Jan Kempsdorp which is north of Kimberley.
A point to point race, this course is hard and undulating. The course starts at Jan Kempdorp in the Northern Cape and climbs fairly steeply up two gradients. Once over this part of the route the rest of the way home to Christiana in the Free State is flat and the direction takes you through thorn veld and breath taking scenery.
The 21.1km race starts 15 kilometres from Christiana on the Jan Kempdorp Road and is a moderate point to point run to the finish at the Christiana river resort. As the name of the race hints at, it is run through three provinces; starting in the Northern Cape, entering the North West Province, turning into the Free State and finishing in the NWP. Walkers are welcome.
