This is the oldest and biggest drama festival specifically for school drama. Each year between 40 and 50 plays from the top schools around the country are show-cased, with about 400 - 500 actors on stage during the course of the week, and about 2000 audience members.
The festival provides a showcase for many of the upcoming talent in the theatre world, as well as bringing together writers, directors and actors. Professional adjudicators award the bronze, silver and gold certificates and R10 000 in prize money is up for grabs. Celebrity judges, warm hearted karoo welcomes and fabulous drama promises to make this a fantastic event not to be missed.
