Kierieklapper Arts Festival in Mokopane, Waterberg

The Mutual & Federal Agri Kierieklapper Arts Festival (KKKF) takes place for the twelve time in 2012 from Thursday 9 August to Saturday 12 August 2012 in Mokopane, Limpopo Province, South Africa.

Loads of new and exciting initiatives are planned and the organisers are confident that the entertainment will be excellent, duly enhanced by the overall festive ambiance thus ensuring that there will be something to interest and entertain the whole family.

The festival programme offers:
• Productions by the finest of South Africa’s most contemporary and celebrated artists (music and drama) - Karlien van Jaarsveld, Heinz Winckler, Jakkie Louw and Kevin Leo, Elize Cawood and the new pop sensation Adam plus many more.
• The active family can participate in a planned Fun Run / Walk or Bicycle challenge.
• On National Woman’s Day (Thursday 9 August 2012) the annual Kierieklapper Golf Day takes place. This event features high on the sports calendars of golf enthusiasts in the region.
• The main festival terrain offers a unique dynamic environment where visitors are sure to enjoy themselves. Visitors can explore the 150 interesting and colourful stalls but also the Outdoor Stage where all professional productions can be enjoyed free of charge. Up-coming artists will also be given an opportunity during the festival on the Outdoor Stage to showcase their talents.
• A Gospel Festival will end the Kierieklapper Arts Festival on a high note with a children's production called “Rooikappie en Wolf” and the gospel group “Onbeskaamd” that will share the stage with local choirs.

Saturday: R40 per person
Sunday: R20 per person
Primary School children: R15
