Head to Harrismith for this one! This race starts at the community hall in the Sterkfontein Resort and runs along the waters edge next to the dam wall and then along the dam wall for three kilometers.

This is the largest ground wall in the southern hemisphere so soak that in and enjoy the spectacular views across the water with the Drakensberg Mountains in the background. The course then turns onto the Harrismith QwaQwa Road in the direction of Harrismith and at the intersection turns right towards Bergville and the entrance of the resort.

It’s a lovely race but be prepared for the chilly weather. Walkers are welcome and will start an hour ahead of the running pack. Enter at the start from 07h00.
