Situated about 100 kilometres West of Port Elizabeth, The Port Hotel lies nestled in the picturesque seaside village of St. Francis Bay. Set in the midst of a working harbour and vibrant waterfront in the Mediterranean Style village of Port St. Francis guests are offered luxury accommodation right at the waters edge with a choice of either full self-catering two bedroom apartments or semi self-catering one bedroom units. ACCOMMODATIONAll our units are harbour facing with breathtaking views of moored yachts and ocean going sailing vessels entering and leaving the port as well as spectacular ocean views from their private balconies. With airy, light, spacious rooms and comfortable furnishings in a coastal theme to suite the surroundings The Port Hotel offers guests a home away from home and even a holiday vibe at the end of a working day. ROOM TYPESStandard Semi Self-Catering Units Comprise of twin beds which can be converted into a double bed upon request and availability, a bathroom with shower (no bath) and a kitchenette facility with a microwave, bar fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery and glassware. These units also have a sleeper sofa which could accommodate a third person or up to two small children. Wing Semi Self-Catering Units Set out exactly the same as the Standard Units except they have an extra enclosed balcony which can be used as a sunny breakfast area or sun room. Two Bedroom Full Self-Catering Units Comprise of two bedrooms one with a double bed and en-suite bathroom and the other with twin beds and a separate shower. The units have a fully equipped kitchen and open plan lounge area which leads onto a lovely large deck/balcony. Penthouse Full Self-Catering Units Comprised of two levels. On the fist level they have an open plan fully equipped kitchen leading into a lounge area which flows onto a large deck/balcony, a guest toilet and a main bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with both shower and bath as well as a dressing room area. On the second level is a bedroom with twin beds, a sleeper couch which could accommodate a fifth party or two small children, a dressing area and a bathroom with shower and bath. DININGFacilities on the premises include dining at a choice of five restaurants two of which serve breakfast and each one boasting its own unique harbour or ocean view and ambiance. ACTIVITIES & ATTRACTIONSSince St. Francis Bay is a seaside village there are a plethora of outdoor activities to park take in such as shore angling, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, bay cruises, golf, tennis, hiking trails, birding, surfing, cycling paths, horse riding, sand boarding, whale and dolphin watching just to name a few. For after conferencing activities we can suggest a canal cruise, drinks at Sun Set Rocks in Cape St. Francis or even a Bay Cruise which leaves from your door step! For those a little less adventurous perhaps a relaxing walk along the ocean shore to the second most southern tip of Africa would pose a nice challenge. In addition, we offer a range of unusual adventure and team building programs. Facilities are on-site and include whiteboard, flipchart, VCR and monitor, cordless microphone, public address system, overhead projector, screen, Data projector and DVD. The conference specifications are: Size 100sq meters, 40 delegates; U-shape 70 delegates; Classroom 100 delegates. Notepaper, pen with water and mints will be set out for delegates on arrival.
