Quad Bike Safaris in the Waterberg
At Mabula Game Reserve, situated in the spectacular Waterberg area in Limpopo, South Africa, you can now do a Quad bike safari throughout the private game reserve. Called an "Eco Adventure Trails", the safaris are conducted by quad bike. Four 250cc Suzuki quad bikes are available whilst the fifth is commandeered by an experienced guide with FGASA (Field Guide Association of South Africa) qualifications. Trails are a slow meander through the bush with some small humps, dips and water offering variance but ultimately allowing you to get really close to nature.

The Eco Adventure Trail activity is very much focused on the safari rather than on the action adrenalin ride of a quad bike. Bikes are governed to go to a maximum speed of only 20km per hour, which ensures that it stays a safari experience, however helmets are provided and remain compulsory.
Note: No children under 12 are allowed on the quad bikes. Adults can however take their children under 12 on their bikes.
