ABOUT WHITE RIVER: Set in an important agricultural and forestry area, the streets of White River in Mpumalanga are lined with date palms, glrious bougainvillaea and jacaranda trees. About three kilometres from town, Rottcher Wineries, in Nutcracker Valley, offer cellar tours which will introduce you to unusual orange wines and liqueurs.
