Self Catering or Fully Catered Accommodation

Hippo Cottage (Sleeps 10):
Comprises of five bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower and bath. A spacious kitchen fully equipped with gas/electric combination stove, fridge/freezer and deep freeze. The large communal area consist of a dining room and lounge. The unit is serviced daily.

Important Notice: When booking Hippo Cottage, the use of the cottage will be exclusively for you and your group during your stay.

Crocodile Cottage (Sleeps 4):
This unit comprises of two bedrooms (double rooms), two bathrooms, one with shower and bath the other with only shower. A fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, microwave oven and fridge/freezer combination. A comfortably furnished lounge area with an enchanting bar which open on a balcony overlooking the Olifants river. Linnen, towels and swimming pool towls are supplied. The unit is serviced daily.

Our gate only opens on the date of arrival at 14h00! No early arrivals can be accommodated.

Meals

Hearty meals will be served twice a day in the dining area, or on the deck, where you will experience good old-fashioned home cooking. Any special dietary requirements should be arranged beforehand.

Games Activities

With the possibility of having the Big 5 on your doorstep and an abundance of bird life, we offer early morning or late afternoon informative game drives with an experienced field guide. Take in the breathtaking views of the Oliphants River Valley whilst sipping on a refreshment and savouring the local snacks.

For the more energetic we offer professionally guided bush and bird walks, where our extensive knowledge of all things wild are shared. Safety is of the utmost importance, which is why all excursions must be accompanied by one of our experienced field guides. We also offer accompanied day trips into the Kruger Park.

Features

The large viewing deck, overlooking the Olifants River offers a variety of sightings daily from the Fish Eagle catching its daily food to the gentle giants of the bush grazing quietly on the banks of the river.

Welcome relief from the summer heat can be enjoyed in the splash pool while gripping sounds can be heard around the boma at night when the African Wood Owl and the Pel's Fishing Owl are calling their mates. For the adventurous spirits, game drive and bush walks are offered daily.
