Wilderness Gem offers exclusive use accommodation in a fabulous holiday villa. This elegant, spacious and welcoming three-level holiday villa is nestled in Wilderness Village, just 20 minutes from George Airport and 30 minutes from Knysna, in the heart of the Garden Route.

Self Catering Accommodation

Wilderness Gem is a self catering holiday home sleeping up to eight guests and is fitted with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a spacious well-equipped kitchen, dining and living area. Each bedroom is large and bright with views of the forest or ocean and offers a King-size bed made up with percale linen and plenty of wardrobe space. Each bedroom has its own private en-suite bathroom (with a bath / shower, toilet and a basin). Bed linen, bathroom and beach towels are provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering with a fridge / freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Choose from several sumptuous dining areas, sunbathe or read on any of the various viewing decks or plop down in one of the beautifully decorated lounge areas on large, comfy sofas or a woven hanging chair. One of the lounge's features a double sleeper couch. The living area offers full-length glass-fronted views onto the ocean on one side and onto the magnificent forest on the other side.

Heavy duty gas braai facilities are provided on the sunny back deck. Free off-street parking is available in a quiet cul-de-sac.

The Area

Wilderness not only overlooks the sea, but also the placid lagoon (Touw River Estuary), the Serpentine, which meanders between the Touw River, Island Lake and Rondevlei. This is a favourite venue for waterskiing and attracts enthusiasts from far and wide. Recreational activities in Wilderness include hiking, mountain-biking, bird- and whale-watching, hang- and paragliding, horseriding, scenic drives, day tours, angling, boating and other water sports.
