Whale View Cottage is situated along the southern coast of South Africa, right next to the beach with a stunning view over the ocean, one can relax in the tranquility of a small fisherman's town.
This a comfortable sea side self catering cottage offers beautiful views over the Indian Ocean. Situated three hours out of Cape Town, Whale View Cottage is the perfect place to escape the busy city life.
Self Catering Accommodation
This fabulously cosy cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps up to four guests. The main bedroom offers an en-suite bathroom and there is a main separate bathroom with a corner bath and toilet.
The cottage has a big indoor fireplace that can also be used as a braai. The lounge area is comfy and is ideal for curling up on a lazy evening while the dining area has plenty of space for family to enjoy a meal.
The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, all crockery, cutlery and pots. There is a small garden overlooking the ocean.
We supply sanitizer at the property. The cleaning staff are screened daily and have a check list to work to ensure hygiene standards are met and the property is thoroughly cleaned.

Witsand is a small coastal town at the mouth of the Breede River in the Western Cape, South Africa. It is a good fishing area and is widely considered to be the whale nursery of the South African coastline. There is so much to do while here including the following:

Shabby- Chic. The view is awesome and made the stay acceptable. Showers are hot and there is good pressure. The bed comfortable. The kitchen is fairly well equipped and comfortable to work in. But the whole place is crying out for TLC. Windows don't open, the cushions on the couch are flat and very soft, the braai area needs attention, when it rains it drips down on the toilet seat. The garden is unloved with long grass. But the views are really amazing and sitting watching whales made this review acceptable

We had a nice stay, the Pictures on SA-V should be updated, the cottage does not look as good as the pictures. Grass was not cut and the place was not cleaned properly. The Bedding was clean and the cottage was nicely equipped. Love that you can walk to the beach and the view will be nicer if the bushes are cut shorter as shown in the pictures.
