Situated at the foothill of the Rooiberg Mountains near Van Wyksdorp in the heart of the Klein Karoo is Sionshoop Guest Farm. The farm offers an opportunity to live where the only sounds are those of birds, bees, crickets and frogs. You may hear the call of the fish eagle that lives in our valley and at night the owl will return your ‘whoo whoo’ with an eager reply.

Self Catering Accommodation

There are self-contained cottages, each boasting magnificent views of the Rooiberg and Langeberg Mountains.

The cottages have interior finishes handmade by owners Graeme and Babette who has given a unique and creative flair to each cottage. Each cottage consists of a well equipped kitchen, a comfy lounge with fireplace and a retro style bathroom with shower. There is also a patio with braai facilities.

There are two bedrooms; the main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and the second bedroom has with either two single beds.

The Area

Van Wyksdorp is a charming, small, quiet hideaway nestled between the Langeberg and Rooiberg mountains. The area can only be accessed by good gravel roads which indicates just how removed we are from the hustle and bustle. Warm days culminate into breath-taking sunsets and the magic of the night sky will leave you in awe.
