Inyoni Lodge welcomes you to relax and unwind at our peaceful self-catering forest cabin offering accommodation in Pearly Beach in the countryside, near Wolvengat on Hebron Farm, 33km from Pearly Beach. At Inyoni Lodge Cabins there is a boma braai area, a children's jungle gym and a splash pond to cool off in.

Owls Nest is a Honeymoon Suite set in a private double story house. The holiday house in Pearly Beach consists of a spacious, open plan comfortably furnished living area with fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen.

There is a separate downstairs bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The bedroom is furnished with a romantic four-poster bed and opens to a balcony. In addition, there is a private outdoor shower.

Braai facilities are provided.

At Inyoni Lodge a children's jungle gym play area and a splash pond to cool off.

Activities and Attractions

In the village of Wolvengat there is "Lillywood Gallery" belonging to local artists Wim and Tina de Roubaix. North over the hill is the historic Moravian Mission town of Elim. A little further afield lies Baardskeerdersbos, home to the renowned Baardskeerdersbos Art Route.

The Elim Wine Route incorporates Strandveld Wines, Black Oyster Catcher, The Berrio and Zoetendal. The whole area has wonderful mountain biking and Black Oyster Catcher, has some great cycling routes through their farm and surroundings. Other attractions include fishing at Rietfontien, Shark Cage diving in Gansbaai, a drive in the fynbos hills and bird watching.

The first impression on arrival was fair to good, but the overall experience after the weekend was not good. On arrival there was no toilet paper. We've been travelling for nearly 3 hours and had to wait for that and maybe its just us, but staying in a facility at that price, one ply was not what we expected. The staircase to the upstairs bedroom, is really mediocre, it took forever to go up or down the stairs as our feet were too big for the stairs, which was a real problem when you want to use the bathroom, as there is only a toilet downstairs. Everything in the facility is weather permitting. We couldn't braai, that is what you plan for when going away on a weekend, as the braai was away from the house and also not covered. The hot tub is quite far away from the building and also not covered. The water was really bad, it was a disgusting brown colour, and a water purification system or water that can be tapped from a decanter of some sort, would have been appreciated. We would not have considered booking if it was disclosed beforehand that we had to travel approximately 20km on a dirt road which is not in the best of conditions. We received a whatsapp on the day of our departure that we have to travel safely as the road is not good after the rain. It was clearly also not good before the rains. Our overall impression of the venue was, that is comes over as tacky. A lot of stains, all over, carpet, furniture etc. If a venue is advertised as a honeymoon getaway, you have certain expectations. We are frequent visitors to venues of different offerings, and have paid less whilst receiving much more at other venues. We will not be returning and will also not recommend to our friends.
