From Port Elizabeth:
Take the N2 East. After approximately 50km turn onto the R72 (N2) to Port Alfred (100km). When you reach Port Alfred continue past the Caltex Garage on your left and carry on straight all the way down the hill and take the first left into Main Road. Continue straight to the second stop street at Solly Kramers and turn left into Van der Riet Street. Lavender House is 14 Van der Riet on the left hand side 300m down the road. It is a white house with lavender shutters.

From East London:
Take the R72 (N2) West (coastal road) from East London airport. Keep on this road for the 130km to Port Alfred. When you enter town you will have the harbour on your left, continue straight over the bridge, get into the right hand lane and turn right into Causeway Road. Continue straight to a four-way stop with Solly Kramers in front on your right. Carry on straight over the 4-way stop and this road now becomes Van der Riet. Lavender House is 14 Van der Riet, 300m down the road on the left hand side. It is a white house with lavender shutters.

From Grahamstown:
Take the R67 Bathurst road; it is 42km to Bathurst. When you come in to Bathurst turn left at the stop street still on the R67 to Port Alfred (18km). When you enter Port Alfred you will have the harbour on your left, continue straight over the bridge, get into the right hand lane and turn right into Causeway Road. Continue straight to a four-way stop with Solly Kramers in front on your right. Carry on straight over the 4-way stop and this road now becomes Van der Riet.
