Lavender Beach

Lavender Beach is a self catering holiday home that can sleep a total of eleven guests. The house can sleep up to eight guests and the separate flat can sleep three guests. The main bedroom downstairs has a double bed and there are two bathrooms downstairs, one with a bath and one with a shower. The second bedroom upstairs is a spacious Loft- living room with amazing sea views! The loft room offers three single beds and a private toilet, shower and basin. The third bedroom upstairs with double bed has amazing sea views. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a separate laundry with a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. A cosy open-plan lounge / dining room, equipped with DStv, VCR, DVD and Radio / CD player, leads out onto the front sea-facing patio and garden. Outside in the garden between the house and the flat is a built-in braai and outside dining area with lovely mountain views. On top of the double garage is a spacious airy open plan loft room with beautiful sea and mountain views. It has a King-size bed and one single bed, an en-suite bathroom with bath. The sitting are has a TV with SABC 1, 2, 3, e-TV and DVD player. The open plan mini kitchenette is fully equipped with a fridge / freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and electric frying pan. You can view the whales from your bed or sit on the balcony.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
