Tucked away in a remote location with secure access, enjoy a stay in the heart of nature, surrounded by birdsong and the sound of the river flowing past.

Self Catering Accommodation

Kaaimans Retreat is a self catering holiday home in Wilderness with four bedrooms, all located upstairs.

The main bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed with an electric blanket. The room has underfloor heating and a sliding door which opens onto a river facing balcony. The open-plan en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, heated towel rail, toilet and double basins.

The second and third bedrooms are fitted with Queen-size beds and equipped with electric blankets and underfloor heating. One of these rooms opens onto the same river facing balcony, shared with the main bedroom, and has a two-seater coffee table.

The fourth bedroom is furnished with bunk beds and has underfloor heating. The second bathroom is fitted with a shower, bath, toilet and basin. There is also a guest toilet.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a gas and electric stove top, electric oven, microwave, coffee making machine plus breakfast bar with bar chairs. There is a separate scullery with washing machine and dishwasher. The lounge has comfortable couches, a gas fireplace, underfloor heating and a smart TV.

Stack sliding doors open onto undercover patio with outdoor dining table and built-in BBQ/Braai. An additional lounge area has a dining table and reading nook.

Attractions

Various activities including canoeing, fishing, stand up paddle boarding, swimming as well as abseiling are all literally on your doorstep. The Kaaimans Adventures Center is just outside the estate. They offer kayak rentals, a restaurant, bar as well as children’s playground. Kaaimans Beach is within walking distance as well. Wilderness and Victoria Bay are a few minutes’ drive on either side.
