The Area

The town is situated at the feet of the Ysterberg and is surrounded by the Witfonteinrand and Boshofberg with the majestic Kransberg in the background. This is the most spectacular view from the deck, making this the perfect venue for corporate guests, holidaymakers and weekend escapes. Many nature trails and hikes traverse the town's scenic bushveld surroundings and attract particularly birdwatchers and hikers. The Marakele National Park just ten kilometres out of Thabazimbi is one of the highlights of the area.
