Goodwill Mountain Farm offers self catering accommodation in Stanford in a restored farm villa. Here you can take pleasure in a tranquil stay in a peaceful and beautiful setting, surrounded by pine trees. Stanford is a lovely area and has many great activities for you to enjoy.

Self Catering Accommodation

The Villa sleeps ten guests and has four bedrooms. The bedrooms are furnished with King-size beds or twins beds if preferred. There is also as a secondary lounge with daybeds that can be converted into beds.

The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, large bath tub, basin and toilet. The adjacent bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. the second and third rooms share a bathroom with a shower basin and toilet.

The kitchen is fully equipped with quality cookware, oven, stove and microwave. There is a separate scullery with an extra gas cooker and a secondary fridge. Much care has been taken to furnish the Villa and the feel is much more of a private luxurious house than rental accommodation.

Art by local artists adorn the walls and many of the pieces of furniture are family heirlooms. Wifi is provided free of charge, as well as natural, chemical-free toiletries hand-made locally.

The villa is set amongst beautiful old pine trees where fallow deer come in the mornings to hang out with the horses and take their fill of the lush grass surrounding our rainwater dam. The silence and tranquility is abundant and our best efforts have been made to provide you with a place to unwind and forget about the hum-drum of daily life.

We offer yoga classes to our guests and just 100 meters away you will find a restaurant, wine tasting and a kids jungle gym. You can also explore the surrounding mountains and go hiking, or take a swim in one of the dams.

Nearby Attractions

Standford has plenty for you to do including a visit to the Big Cat Sanctuary, Platbos Indigenous Forest and the Salmonsdam Nature Reserve to name a few. You can also go shark cage diving, visit the Birkenhead Brewery or relax at the Mosaic Rain Spa.
