once inside the unit one is met with a surprise visit from a very friendly vocal rooster.. he sits on the windowsill and talks to you.. can tell this was the highlight of my day, I'm a keen animal lover. The unit is unique in that it has a lot of creative woodwork features; it feels like an artists hideout. It was clean with crisp bedding and a very comfy bed. Lots of room to spread out all your travel belongings and equipped with a toaster, kettle , microwave , fridge and oven. take your Tabard along as the mosquitos were on the beat. Don't get shocked on arrival... the vegetation could be overwhelming for some peeps.. overall its a great place to base and explore Salt Rock.

Incredible oasis in the forest. Definitely a must experience. The well thought out details and rustic feel was dreamy. Definitely coming back here to write my novel! Our host Louise was generous and gracious. Highly recommend.
