One of those times where the photographs on the website do NOT do the place justice. Its better than I expected.

Absolutely beautiful, we were a group of friends and our two Rottweilers. We had THE most amazing weekend at INDIA HOUSE! The setting is remote and beautiful (think awesome star gazing at night...) lots of space for everyone. A Kitchen equipped with every gadget and luxury you can imagine, beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. A gorgeous lounge area with massive fireplace, Lots to do in the area, hiking, swimming, rock stream ... I could go on and on. It was really fabulous, thank you!!

We enjoyed our stay so much that we promptly booked again for a month later. So many small touches which really made us feel at home, from the cookies in the kitchen to the sun loungers at the riverside. Highly recommended for couples!

Excellent cottages with stylish furniture situated in the famous Bainskloof Pass. Come and discover another unspoilt part of the Valley with beautiful scenery. I couldnít wait to break away from my everyday hustle and bustle of daily routines and rejuvenate my body, mind and soul with the following: mountain hikes, bird watching, relaxing on the deck and swimming in rock pools, shower under the chilly waterfall or just relax in the cottage. Definitely a place to recommend to all nature lovers - Iíve made my next booking for Jan Ď09 again.

We spent an awesome weekend filled with good food, warm fires, slanting winter sunshine, crisp white linen, drifting off to sleep in the hammock with the sound of the stream bubbling by, delicious dips under the chilly waterfall, wonderful wanderings up the kloof and generally marvelling at the wealth of natural beauty that the area is blessed with. Thank you for sharing this with us, we canít wait to go again.
