Overnight Stay – To Who it Concern We attended a Sixes Cricket School tournament in Thabazimbi over the weekend and booked and pre-paid our stay at Angasii Game lodge – Due to the nature of the event and it running late on Day 1, we could only book in after 19h00 on the Friday evening – and want to first off thank the staff for accommodating this late book-in. However as soon as we booked-in and eventually moved into our chalet/lodgings (which was the Leopard house – being an 8 bed sleep unit) – It was disappointing to find that, the showers was without water supply, the electricity kept tripping, the bedroom TV’s weren’t working (not that TV is something that your need in the Bush – but if it doesn’t work then rather remove it from the facility) and the Air-conditioning in the rooms were playing up - We contacted the support staff and again thank them for responding friendly and accommodating – but eventually at around 21h00 – just called it a night trying to sort out all the hick-ups – it was late and we had a very tyring day and just wanted to wash the day off and relax – The next day we left early for Day two of the tournament – This is the first view of the unit in Day Light – and again it was disappointing to find that there were obvious issues with the thatch roof which was covering quite a large part of the roof – obviously obscuring some damage – Again in the bush understandable that you’d have this condition from time to time – but it is unsightly and again we would suggest that if there is work that needs to be done on a unit don’t put guests in these units – it just does not lend to the 360 experience of the guest who generally do not expect to live in a unit that outwardly look a bit run down – especially if it carries a 4 star rating. Having said all that – in Closing – On average, the unit was clean well kitted out, and the ground staff in service over the weekend was friendly and tried to be very helpful - where they could - We did not expect them to do miracles at all cost - Over all we enjoyed the s nights in the bush and for the most part enjoyed comfort around the fire for which we are most great full. However if we look for lodgings we prefer as a min a 4 star and for these to live up to its rating.

Very friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable chalets. Meals are really of a very high standard. Very good animal and birdwatching. Will definitely visit again.
