  1. DAY 1: Pretoria to Borakalalo Nature Reserve

    Your transport leaves at 13h00 from Pretoria and takes you to Kgomo Kgomo, where you will visit bird viewing points before continuing the route from a western to a eastern direction to Zaagkuildrift. After sunset you will check-in at your accommodation where you will have dinner and relax before bedtime.

  2. DAY 2: Borakalalo Nature Reserve

    You depart early for Borakalalo National Park where you will spend the day bird watching. During the day you might also have an opportunity to photograph some of the wide variety of antelope, giraffe, white rhino, leopard or numerous smaller mammal species. Amongst the 43 endemics you’re likely to see are the Natal Spurfowl, Double-banded Sandgrouse, Burchell’s Coucal, Southern Red-billed Hornbill, White throated Robin- Chat and Acacia Pied Barbet. After a full day at Borakalalo you will return to your accommodation for a relaxing evening with a delicious dinner

  3. DAY 3: Borakalalo Nature Reserve to Pretoria

    You will start early in the morning and drive along the Zaagkuildrift road in a east - west direction towards Kgomo Kgomo. Along this route you’re likely to encounter the following endemics: Swainson’s Spurfowl, Northern Black Korhaan, Southern Yellow-billed Hornbill, Southern Red billed Hornbill, Acacia Pied Barbet, Sabota Lark, Southern Black Tit, White-throated Robin-Chat, Kalahari Scrub-Robin, Chestnut-vented Tit-Babbler and Burnt-necked Eremomela.
