Tour Itinerary

  1. DAY 1: Johannesburg; Nelspuit Airport; Skukuza Airport; Hazyview; to Kruger National Park

    An unforgettable wildlife experience!
The Kruger National Park is a magical place - the excitement of seeing an elephant herd with tiny babies, giraffes drinking or lion cubs playing whilst the adults nap will becomes memories to cherish for life.

Nothing can compare to the breath-taking thrill of seeing a lion for the first time walking through the African bush; spotting a leopard up a tree or being up close and personal with an endangered cheetah.

Day 1: After welcoming you on board our comfortable open Land Rover safari vehicle, there will be a brief synopsis of what to expect during the safari.

There is a short drive before entering a Kruger gate in the southern region, an area known for its herds of elephants and buffalos, home to the king of the jungle and of course wherever lion prides are, antelope, zebra and giraffe abound.

As the afternoon cools down, keep your eyes open... this is when the predators like hyenas, lions and leopards start their day.

With evening drawing closer and just before the gates close, we head to camp for a relaxing evening, spent recounting experiences whilst listening to the laugh of a hyena, or the roar of a lion.

Dinner in the camp restaurant - À la carte menu.

    OVERNIGHT: Kruger National Park Rondavel/Bungalow

  2. DAY 2: Kruger National Park Camp to Kruger National Park

Leaving camp an hour earlier (in the summer months) than the Kruger entrance gates open, is the perfect time to spot night-night-time predators that are still active. Perhaps we’ll see a pride of lions, a leopard or the elusive cheetah - the opportunities are endless.

After stopping for breakfast, we continue our wildlife adventure before returning to camp to escape the hottest part of the day. An opportunity for a dip in the pool, explore the camp or perhaps a siesta.

As the day begins to cool, we board the open safari vehicle mid-afternoon. With a network of roads to select from, your guide's knowledge and experience could lead to a predator kill or to an area known for its regular sightings of the elusive leopard. The open plains offer great sightings of general wildlife, including the elegant giraffe and the dazzling zebra

With evening drawing closer, we head back to camp for a sundowner and dinner whilst recounting experiences of the day.

    OVERNIGHT: Kruger National Park Rondavel/bungalow

  3. DAY 3: Kruger National Park to Hazyview

Awaken to a spectacular African sunrise, before leaving for a last morning safari in this world-renowned wildlife reserve.

This is the perfect time to spot night-time predators still active, perhaps an elusive leopard in the fork of a tree or lion cubs rushing to catch up with their pride.

After stopping for breakfast we’ll continue our search for the magnificent creatures of the wild. In the late morning, we leave the Kruger with an approximate Hazyview arrival at midday.

It is true that a visit to rural Africa is like a step back in time, where nature rules and mankind is but a spectator.

    OVERNIGHT: Optional and recommended!
