An unforgettable wildlife experience!
The Kruger National Park is a magical place - the excitement of seeing an elephant herd with tiny babies, giraffes drinking or lion cubs playing whilst the adults nap will becomes memories to cherish for life.

Nothing can compare to the breath-taking thrill of seeing a lion for the first time walking through the African bush; spotting a leopard up a tree or being up close and personal to an endangered cheetah.

Kruger National Park, one of the world’s greatest game reserves, is a captivating experience for those open to the drama of the nature that abounds. Wildlife thrives in the reserve and it is home to the legendary ‘Big 5’ making a total of 147 species of mammals.

Kruger Park is not just about the big 5, it is also home to hundreds of birds and to view them from an open safari vehicle enhances the experience. There are over 500 bird species between October and March when the bird population swells by approximately 200 migrant species that have flown south from elsewhere in Africa and from Eurasia.

It is an exciting experience visiting the Kruger National Park from the thrilling yet comfortable vantage point of an open safari vehicle with a knowledgeable, experienced and entertaining Safari Field Guide.

Our passion is to share the countless wonders of nature that Africa has to offer with our guests.

Hazyview departures.
It’s off to an early start; we meet at your hotel to board our open safari vehicle as the Kruger NP entrance gates open. Before long, you’ll enter Kruger in the southern region which is home to the ‘Big 5’ – lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo - plus African wild dogs, the elegant giraffe, the dazzling zebra and much more!

There is a stop for breakfast and lunch at one of Kruger’s scenic camps along the way. As the afternoon cools down, this is when predators start their day and there is a good possibility of seeing a lion around the next corner observing an impala herd, or an elusive leopard quenching his thirst.

Book now – just bring your camera and an adventurous spirit for a trip of a lifetime!

Request details of our private overnight safaris to experience the night sounds of the Kruger National park - perhaps a lion roaring which can be heard from a distance of 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) and is used to advertise the animal’s presence and to communicate with other lions and lionesses. A truly memorable wildlife experience!

We went on a safari yesterday. There were 4 of us all over 65 and we had the jeep to ourselves. Keith was our guide, the whole day was absolutely fabulous. We saw so many animals and birds. Keith was extremely knowledgeable on both and went out of his way to help us find the big 5! We didn’t see lions but saw the rest of the 5 plus Cheetah and Wild Dogs – a real bonus. Also plenty of giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and some wonderful birds including the Secretary Bird. Will definitely use Regent Safaris again next year can’t recommend highly enough.

Today was awesome. Benno was a wonderful guide! Very respectful of the animals and park rules. We wanted to focus on birds and still saw the big five effortlessly. He is knowledgable about all animals and plants and other park issues and wonderful to stop for all the birds we wanted to see. He did a great job as do you and we thank you very much.

Dear Ann, we all enjoyed immensely our two days in the Kruger. Gavin was a very knowledgeable guide who looked after us very well. His passion and depth of knowledge made for a memorable trip. We saw all the big 5 with the exception of a leopard, but that was not for the lack of trying. We were lucky to see a pack of wild dogs which apparently represented about 20% of the dogs in the park. Thank you for organising the trip and for arranging such an excellent guide. Best wishes Mike Gamble
