Tour Description

Kruger National Park, one of the world’s greatest game reserves, is a captivating experience for those open to the drama of the nature that abounds. Wildlife thrives in the reserve and is home to the legendary ‘Big 5’ making a total of 147 species of mammals.

To experience the stark beauty of zebras as they roam the land freely is a sheer delight and the impalas although plentiful are spectacular in their beauty. The graceful & gentle giraffe, the majestic kudu and many more species all make for a wonderful safari for the entire family.

If you’re a bird enthusiast you won’t be disappointed, there are over 500 bird species. To view and experience wildlife from the high vantage of an open safari vehicle enhances the adventure.

Make a memorable Kruger wildlife experience even more special with your own private guide who understands the local ecosystem and will share interesting facts and entertaining anecdotes about the bushveld. Private safaris are perfect for a couple celebration or for a small group of up to 9 guests.

Our aim is not only to find the impressive ‘Big 5’, but also to point out and explain the smaller things that the untrained eye would never notice.

Quality binoculars for sightings just a little too far; warm blankets for chilly early mornings; waterproof ponchos in case of a shower and mineral water & fruit juice are all available on the vehicle.

For the keen photographer, there are bean bags for extra stability when taking that special shot – it could be a pride of lions, perhaps a leopard lounging in the fork of a tree or a family herd of elephants bathing in the river, the opportunities are endless.

Bring your camera and an adventurous spirit for a trip of a lifetime!

Early pick-up with arrival as the entrance gate opens.
After welcoming you on board our comfortable open Land Rover, we’ll make our way to the southern section of the Kruger National Park which is known for its herds of elephants and buffalos; is home to the king of the jungle and of course wherever lion prides are, there is always a variety of general wildlife including the graceful giraffe, inquisitive zebra and the always amusing vervet monkeys and baboons.

During the heat of the day, we stop at one of the scenic camps where the restaurant overlooks the Sabie River, or at Skukuza Golf Club - a magnificent 9-hole (18 tee) golf course on the outskirts of Skukuza Camp. Since the course is not fenced in, interesting spectators are a common sight and resident hippos in the dam are a delight to observe.
