  1. DAY 1: Johannesburg or Pretoria to VIc Falls Zimbabwe

    DAY 1: ARRIVAL [D]
    On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport you will be met and transferred to Elephant’s Eye, Hwange Eco-Lodge, where you will spend the next 3 nights. Elephant’s Eye, Hwange is situated 13 km from the main camp of Hwange National Park. After arrival, you can either relax on your private veranda or in the pool area, before your first activity. Choose between a game drive in the Hwange National Park or on the Elephant’s Eye, private concession. Alternatively you can join a visit to a local village, where locals will host you and share some information on their lifestyle.
    Overnight: Elephant’s Eye, Hwange (Chalets with open-plan bathroom, double basins and outdoor shower, private veranda, fireplace, pool, restaurant and bar area, viewing deck)

  2. DAY 2: Hwange to Hwange

    Today is spent on a game drive in the Hwange National Park, the largest national park in Zimbabwe, covering an area of approximately 14 650 km2. Named after a local chief, Hwange is situated in the northwest corner of the country about one hour south of the Victoria Falls. Because of its close proximity to the Falls, Hwange boasts an incredible biodiversity of flora and fauna, and a plethora of African wildlife. There are over 100 species of mammals and nearly 400 bird species recorded here. Specifically, the elephant population in Hwange is considered world famous, as it is one of the largest in the world. Experience parts of this national park on game drives and you will discover a variety of animals, including some predators among them.

  3. DAY 3: Hwange to Hwange

    This morning you will go on a game drive to continue your search for the African wildlife. The afternoon is at your leisure, either beside the swimming pool, having sundowners on the viewing deck or participating in some of the optional activities available.

  4. DAY 4: Vic Falls to Durban

    After breakfast, you will take a 2˝ hour transfer back to Victoria Falls Airport, where you will board your onward flight to Durban. On arrival in Durban, you will be collected and transferred to the Coastal Cashew Factory (Maputaland), which will be an approximate 5 hour drive. On arrival at the Coastal Cashew Factory, a Thong Beach Lodge vehicle will meet you and drive to the lodge, which is a 1 hour drive. You will reach your destination in the evening, and will have the evening at leisure.
    Overnight: Thonga Beach Lodge ( Rooms with private bathroom and balcony, pool, restaurtant, bar and lounge)

  5. DAY 5: Thonga Beach Lodge

    Today and tomorrow, you may partake in activities as you wish, or enjoy the day at the beach. Activities available at Thonga Beach Lodge include kayaking on Lake Sibaya, sundowners at Lake Sibaya, snorkelling, seasonal turtle walks, cultural tours and forest walks. Mabibi is a magical place of tranquil swimming bays and snorkelling reefs, coastal forests, grasslands, bush, shimmering lakes and exquisite sandy beaches

    Enjoy your last breakfast at Thonga Beach Lodge before your 5 hour drive back to Durban Airport (King Shaka Airport), where you embark on your onward journey.
