After a long day of wine-tasting, sight-seeing, swimming, shopping or doing business you can relax at our entertainment area. Also enjoy a magnificent view of the Cape Peninsula from the thatch lapa. AccommodationThe individually decorated rooms are equipped with a TV (SABC 1,2,3, etv and M-Net), clock radio, hairdryer, fan, panel heater, blankets, guest amenities, and complimentary coffee-and tea making facilities. Enjoy complimentary chocolate, fruit juice and a rusk on arrival. Each room has its own entrance and for peace of mind secure parking is provided on the premises (palisade fencing, remote controlled gate and all-night lighting). Quality linen and bath towels are provided. To ensure a completely carefree stay, we provide a daily cleaning service. ROOM 1: Garden Retreat (B&B or Self-catering): This room is a spacious twin en-suite bedroom (appr. 36 m2) with private entrance. A double sleeper couch provides additional accommodation for children. Fully equipped for self-catering with kitchen and lounge area. This room has direct access to the pool area and thatch lapa. ROOM 2: Table View (B&B or self-catering): This room is a spacious twin en-suite bedroom (appr. 40 m2) with private entrance. A double sleeper couch provides additional accommodation for children. Fully equipped kitchen with dining area. Full en-suite bathroom with corner bath and shower. This room also provides direct access to its own private balcony with views of Table mountain and the Hottentots-Holland range. ROOM 3: Old Oak (B&B): The “Old Oak” room is a spacious double en-suite bedroom (appr. 24 m2) with private entrance. This room is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave oven, coffee and tea making facilities. No kitchen or dishwashing facilities. ROOM 4: Lalapanzi (B&B or self-catering): This room is a very spacious en-suite family bedroom (appr. 40m2) with a double bed and 2 single beds. Private entrance. Fully equipped with kitchen, lounge and dining area. ROOMS 5 & 6: Tigra & Ingwe (B&B or self-catering): Ideal for single occupancy, each of these cosy rooms (approximately 21 m2) have a 3/4 bed, table, chair, kitchenette with bar fridge, microwave oven and crockery and cutlery. It has a private shower, toilet and hand basin. DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town International Airport Follow the Exit signs to the first intersection. At the traffic light continue straight and follow the Bellville / Borcherds Quarry Road signboards. Keep to the left lane, and take the Borcherds Quarry Road turn-off to the left directly after the bridge. At the intersection on the bridge, turn left to follow the Bellville (M22) sign. Keep straight and turn right into Modderdam Road (M10 to Bellville). Turn left at the second traffic light into De La Rey Road (Follow the sign indicating “Parow / Tygerberg M29”). Continue straight for ± 5 ˝ kilometres (cross Fransie van Zijl and Voortrekker Road) Turn right into Frans Conradie Road (follow the signboard M25 Bellville/N1) At the next intersection, turn left into Mike Pienaar Boulevard (follow the sign indicating M16 Jip de Jager Drive) At the 3rd traffic light, turn left into Hendrik Verwoerd Drive (follow the signboard Plattekloof Road M14) Tyger Hills Guest Accommodation is in this road, about 500 m further on your right (number 265), next to the Tijger Clinic; green palisade fencing in front of the guest house. |
