DESCRIPTION:

Table Mountain Lodge is a gracious homestead nestled on the slopes of Signal Hill with breathtaking views of Table Mountain. Originally a farmhouse built in 1885, the Cape Dutch homestead has been restored to it’s former elegance with timeless charm.

Situated in the popular suburb of Tamboerskloof, guests can stroll to numerous well known and popular restaurants, shops, museums and the city centre. Few minutes by car to the lower cable car station, the Atlantic beaches, Cape Town International Convention Centre and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.

Accommodation


Ten en-suite guest rooms individually decorated and air-conditioned. Top of the range bed sets (either king size or twin beds) together with crisp white cotton percale linen lend themselves to a restful night’s sleep. All guest rooms offer hairdryer, electronic safe, satellite television, direct dial telephone, complimentary guest amenities, complimentary tea/coffee tray, complimentary sherry tray and fresh flowers.

The room categories are Great Classic, Classic and Small Classic. The Great Classic’s offer either great views or great space, the Classic are standard, good sized rooms and the Small Classic is small in size but has good views. The rates vary in accordance to the room category and include our delicious, individually prepared, full English breakfast and / or our freshly prepared Continental buffet.

Facilities


The quaint Scottish themed bar called “The Jock’s Trap” is a very sociable, cosy place for guest’s to meet and interact with other guest’s from all corners of the world. Take a dip in the sparkling swimming pool or relax in the terrace area and enjoy the lovely views of Table Mountain.

Free Internet facilities, wireless ‘hotspots” as well as other office facilities are available.

Table Mountain Lodge has been operating for over 14 years and is owned by Diana Dagh (South African) and Janne Dagh (Swedish). Together, with a very “hands on” management team, we offer excellent tourist advice on a daily basis - if required. We have an abundance of literature and maps and can arrange tours, car rental and transfers.

DIRECTIONS:

FROM CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
N2 Cape Town. M3 Mill Street. M62 Camps Bay. Do not take Roeland Street, Cape Town.
Follow M62 & then M3 Cable Car. Do not take M96, Oranjezicht.
After passing the front entrance of The Mount Nelson Hotel (grand entrance on the left), turn left at the traffic lights into Rheede Street. At the stop street turn left into Kloof Street.
Continue up Kloof Street and then turn 1st right into Kloof Nek Road.
Continue over the set of traffic lights - you will see a nestle of shops at this intersection.
You will be driving along Burnside Road. After the park on the right hand side, turn right into Tamboerskloof Road.
Table Mountain Lodge is the blue and white Cape Dutch homestead on the corner of Burnside and Tamboerskloof Roads.
