DESCRIPTION:

Rondekuil, in the country, about 10 minutes drive from Durbanville and 25 minutes from the heart of Cape Town, is positioned amongst rolling hills, with breath-taking views of the Boland Mountain Ranges and Table Mountain.

Rondekuil is centrally situated making it an ideal base from where to explore the surrounding area and the Cape Peninsula. One can enjoy fine accommodation, a wonderful lifestyle, take pleasant walks and observe many varieties of birds in a tranquil, supremely safe, rural environment, while at the same time being relatively close to all the tourist attractions, excitement and scenic beauty that the Cape offers.

Leeulaagte Cottages
The two Cape Colonial style cottages with reed ceilings, each have front verandas where guests can relax in an easy chair and enjoy breath-taking views while overlooking the swimming pool, the dam, landscaped garden, farmlands and the river area. Each cottage sleeps four, while both of the two bedrooms, in each cottage, have en-suite bathrooms.

The kitchenette, with a granite working surface, is adequately equipped with microwave oven, inside braai / barbeque, two plate stove, kettle, refrigerator etc. Located between the two cottages is a sheltered braai / barbeque and swimming pool area, which provides a wonderful environment for outside entertainment and relaxation.

De Rondawel
De Rondawel comfortably sleeps six and has a main bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom, and another two bedrooms, which share a family bathroom. The open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room area as well as the recreation room, on the mezzanine floor, provide adequate, comfortable space for entertainment and relaxation.

The kitchen is well equipped with a stove, including an oven, a microwave oven, kettle, refrigerator etc. De Rondawel has been decorated in an African theme. A stainless steel braai/barbeque unit has is provided. Guests staying in De Rondawel are welcome to make use of the swimming pool area at the main farm house, which includes a thatched “lapa” with a braai/barbeque facility.

Substantial, tasty Continental Breakfasts are served in our cozy reception building.

DIRECTIONS:

From Cape Town
From Cape Town take the N1 and then turnoff onto the N7 (Malmesbury) and then take the SECOND Durbanville turnoff (M48) travel along this road until you arrive at a four way stop, turn left into Malanshoogte Road/Adderley Road. Travel along this road, past the Fair Cape Dairy, which is on the left hand side, until the gravel road. After about a further 1.5km turn left at the Rondekuil signpost and drive for about 2 km on this road, at the end of the long barn, which runs parallel to the road, take the first road to your left; the reception office is about 200m up this road.

From Cape Town International Airport
From Cape Town International Airport take the N2 (Somersetwest) and take the turnoff to the R300 (West) follow this highway and then take the N1 towards Cape Town. When on the N1, take the Durban Road (R302) turnoff to Durbanville. Travel up Durban Road until the traffic circle and take the road to Philadelphia (M58). Continue along this road (which is Koeberg Road), passing D’Urbanville on the left had side, after which one enters the countryside. Continue past Diemersdal Wine Estate, which is on the left hand side, drive for about 7km and turn left into Malanshoogte Road and then first right at the Rondekuil signpost, which is about 600m down the road. Drive for about 2 km on this road and then at the end of the long barn, which runs parallel to the road, take the first road to your left; the reception office is about 200m up this road.
