There are many excellent restaurants in the area as well as a berry farm at which to enjoy afternoon tea just around the corner. Relax beside the pool with a book and admire the mountains, with only the guinea fowl to disturb you. AcommodationAccommodation is in three private, fully equipped and self contained cottages, Tara's, Mulberry and Peach Tree Cottage. All the cottages enjoy magnificent views and an exquisite pool. Each cottage has 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4), a large private patio for outdoor dining or barbecues, a fully equipped kitchen and a living room with cosy fire place. All towels and linen are provided. LocationMoore's End is situated just 10 minutes from Stellenbosch, 15 from Paarl and Franschhoek, 45 minutes from Cape Town, 30 minutes to the beach (Strand) and 40 minutes to the Airport. The Cape Winelands is the ideal location from which to explore the Western Cape and Cape Town. |

DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town or the Airport take the N2. Take the R310 exit and follow signs to Stellenbosch. You will pass the train station on your left. Turn left onto R44/Somerset West / Strand Road. At the second traffic light, turn right onto Merriman Street. Go to the end of Merriman until you come to a traffic circle. Take the first left onto Cluver Road. Go through two traffic lights. At the third light, turn right onto the R310 (Franschoek via Helshoogte Highway). Drive approximately 8˝ km to “Moores End” on your left. You will pass Delaire, Tokara, Le Pommier Restaurant, Zorgvliet, Hillcrest Berry Farm, De Kraal and Mountain Wood before you come to Moores End. |
