At the foot of the Langeberg, in the heart of Robertson's 'valley of wine and roses', surrounded by vineyards and orchards, lies Mallowdeen Gardens. A completely renovated farmhouse. Part of the former stable is converted to a spacious, comfortable and very private apartment. Two traditional African styled cottages are situated next to the large swimming pool. Breakfast (optional) is served on the covered patio next to the pool. AccommodationApartment: The apartment which forms part of the main building is spacious, very private. The covered patio (with barbecue) offers beautiful Langeberg Mountain views. This elegant room has an en-suite bathroom (shower and toilet) and a fully equipped kitchen. The Thatched Cottages: The two thatched cottages are situated around a heated swimming pool. Each has a spacious living area with fireplace, kitchen, and en-suite bathroom with toilet, shower and bath. ServiceMallowdeen Gardens is renowned for its attentive service with hosts Rita and Wim providing special touches to make your stay relaxed and memorable. We offer four star luxury in a cosy rural setting. En-suite bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, private parking, and open fireplaces in the two cottages. Your private verandah provides a relaxing vantage-point to take in spectacular mountain views, the overwhelming sound of silence, prolific birdlife, and at night the starry sky. DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town Take the N1 to Paarl and Worchester. Leave the N1 at Worchester and take the R60 to Robertson and Ashton. Approximately 7 kilometers past Robertson turn left at the sign Klaasvoogds West. Two kilometers down this road you will find Mallowdeen Gardens at your right. From the Garden Route (N2) Leave the N2 at Swellendam and follow the signs Robertson. Approximately 5 kilometers past Ashton is a turnoff to Klaasvoogds Oos. Ignore this sign, a bit further is the turnoff to Klaasvoogds West. Turn right and two kilometers down this road you will find Mallowdeen Gardens at your right. Von Kapstadt kommend Nehmen Sie die N1 nach Paarl und Worchester. Verlassen Sie die N1 in Worchester und nehmen Sie Die R60 nach Robertson und Ashton. Etwa 7 km nach Robertson biegen Sie nach links am Schild Klaasvoogds West. Nach zwei Kilometern sehen sie Mallowdeen Gardens auf der rechten Seite.. Wenn Sie von der Gartenroute kommen (N2) Verlassen Sie die N2 bei Swellendam und folgen Sie dem Schild Robertson. Zirka 5 km nach Ashton befindet sich eine Abzwiegung nach Klaasvoogds Oost. Ignorieren Sie dieses Schild, etwas weiter finden Sie die Klaasvoogds West. Fahren Sie nach rechts, nach zwei Kilometern sehen Sie auf der rechten Seite Mallowdeen Gardens. |
