We have 6 cabins on the Breede River Queen Houseboat. Our top priority is to provide our guests with tranquility and relaxation, that "home -away-from-home" atmosphere and complete peace of mind during your stay with us. Hotel AccommodationThe Hotel boasts 24 twin rooms, 17 family rooms and four large family rooms, each with bathroom en suite and tastefully decorated. Their wooden beams and classic "rietdak" ceilings are a feature of the entire hotel, complimented by the wonderful paintings by the owner's Mother. As most of the rooms are equipped with a fold up sleeper couch, we are able to offer extra accommodation should it be required. 45 en-suite bedrooms and 6 cabins on the house boat "Breede River Queen" Houseboat Accommodation (Self Catering)The Breede River Queen is stationary on the banks of the Breede River at the Malagas Hotel. It consists of 2 self catering units (one upper level and the other ground level). Both levels sleep up to 6 people each. The units are fully equipped with a stove, fridge / freezer, TV (SABC 1,2,3,e-TV,M-Net,2 movie channels and sport channels.) Bedding and towels are provided. DiningOur meals are best described as "South African Home Cooking" and are designed to be tasty, wholesome and include many favourite traditional dishes. A selection of local wines are available to compliment your meal. Meals are table d' hτte or a la carte. A hearty full English Breakfast is available and Pub Lunches are served at our "Moxies Bar". DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town Take the N2 from Cape Town over Sir Lowry's Pass towards Caledon. Approximately 6 km before Swellendam, turn right at the Malgas, Infanta turn-off. Follow the gravel road for 38km. Follow the sign to left Malagas Guest House, you will see the Wite Hotel Buildings on the left when you drive down the hill. |
