Lalapanzi Lodge is ideally located to explore the Cape. We are only 10 minutes from the beach at Gordon's Bay and Strand, 20 minutes from Stellenbosch, 35 minutes from Cape Town International Airport and 50 minutes from Cape Town city centre and Franschhoek. Even if you don’t leave the estate you won’t struggle to entertain yourself. Take a leisurely stroll around our pine farm. Chill out by the pool and relax on the balcony of the main lodge with a glass of wine from a local vineyard while watching the eagles, and a whole variety of kestrels, kites and other local wildlife. AccommodationLuxury B&B rooms The main lodge has been designed with the style conscious guest in mind. The rooms are simple, modern and stylish while retaining the warmth and character of a solid log cabin. The lodge now boasts four luxury en-suite rooms and one luxury suite which come with a hearty cooked or continental breakfast All rooms have under floor heating in the bathroom and a heated towel rail. Each room has its own private entrance, patio, satellite TV (DStv bouquette), DVD & CD player, ceiling fans, panel heaters and free wireless internet connectivity, tea/coffee making facilities, mini-bar, safe and access to the swimming pool, braai and lapa area Exclusive self-catering lodges Hide yourself away from the world in our solid log 2 and 3 self-catering lodges. Both lodges have a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, lounge with satellite TV (DStv bouquette) 2 bathrooms and braai area in your own private garden. There’s a large balcony from which you can enjoy the same panoramic view of False Bay and the Hottentots Holland Mountains as the main lodge. DiningPerched high above False Bay with some of the most stunning views in the Western Cape is Lalapanzi lodge’s intimate dining room. Relax with a bottle of wine from one of the many local vineyards and treat yourself to a delicious home-made meal prepared with seasonal ingredients from the region. Conferences, Events, FunctionsLalapanzi lodge is a great venue for all kinds of events. We can host anything from mini-conferences, to sundowners, parties and functions. The lodge can be used in a number of different ways depending on your requirements. We have a fully equipped conference room that holds up to 18 people. A cosy living room for more informal meetings or breakaway sessions and a large stoep which can be used for business lunches, sundowners and drinks parties. A lapa braai and pool area for lazy afternoon lunches and functions. |

DIRECTIONS: N2 from Cape Town towards George, through Somerset West. At the foot of Sir Lowry's Pass take Sir Lowry's Pass Village turning, 1.5 kms cross railway track. Turn right. +/- 70 meters take red brick road on left sign posted 'Wedderwill & Knorhoek'. We are on the Wedderwill Estate. Go through Wedderwill security gate. We are 1.2 kms up on the paved road on the left, signposted Lalapanzi Lodge, Farm 3, which is strangely enough after Farm 4. |
