DESCRIPTION:
Located in majestic surroundings high up in Constantia Nek Valley, and situated on two acres of beautiful gardens, this charming stone and thatch home is unique to Cape Town and decorated in true African safari lodge style. Sweeping views across the picturesque Constantia Winelands to False Bay, with a tennis court and heated swimming pool.
The lounge, which leads onto a wooden deck overlooking the vineyards, boasts an enormous fireplace and flat screen TV, with the main dining room in open thatch. Kudu and Wildebeest heads adorn the walls, with Zebra skins scattered on the wooden floors.
Accommodation
Accommodation in the main house consists of two double bedrooms en-suite in colonial style with mosquito nets decorating the beds, and one standard with twin beds, also en-suite. A family size kitchen with pantry as well as guest toilet.
There are three separate garden suites and one garden cottage with thatch ceilings, decorated in ethnic style with mosquito nets, and all are en-suite with the cottage being open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen. Both double rooms, garden suites and cottage have television.
Main House Rooms:
• Zebra Room has a King-size bed
• Nguni Room has either a Queen-size bed or 2 single beds
• Springbok Room has 2 single beds
Garden Suites:
• Umhlaba Suite has a Queen-size bed
• Umoya Suite has a Queen-size bed
• Umlilo Suite has a Queen-size bed
Garden Cottage:
• Amanzi Cottage has a Queen-size bed
Facilities
The boma, next to the pool and pool bar, is the perfect place to get together for casual dinners and barbeques.
Location & Attractions
This is the ideal point from which to explore Cape Town and the Western Cape surrounds, close to the city centre, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, golf courses, beaches, mountain walks, shopping centres and top restaurants.
Half to three quarters of an hour's drive to Paarl, Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Somerset West to do some serious wine tasting.

Drive out of Cape Town Inter. Airport and travel south, towards Muizenberg / Cape Town 0 0
From Cape Town International Airport
Follow the road onto Settlers Way (N2 South).
Travel for 11.8km and take left exit onto Rhodes Drive (Following signs to Kirstenbosch / Muizenberg).
Travel for 5.57km and at the traffic lights, turn right into Rhodes Ave (Following signs to Kirstenbosch).
Travel for 2.5km, passing Kirstenbosch Gardens to a T Junction.
Travel right into Rhodes Ave, and travel for 4.5km.
IKhaya Safari Lodge is on your left hand side.
