Hermanus Beach Villa is a luxury 4-Star guest house in Hermanus South Africa that offers self-catering and / or Bed and Breakfast accommodation. It is conveniently situated on the famous Blue Flag Voëlklip (Bird Rock) Beach with uninterrupted sea views over the ocean. AccommodationThis stunning beach villa has 4 suites with 3 suites directly on the sea and beach. The Suites: Grotto; Voëlklip and Langbaai, each have sweeping 180 degree views of the ocean. The largest of the suites is mountain suite with a huge private lounge and balcony with side views through bay windows to the sea. You can walk barefoot onto the lovely white sands of the beach and dive into the Atlantic Ocean. Please note that each suite has 2 separate double rooms sharing a luxurious en-suite bathroom and can sleep up to 4 people. Please enquire for the rates of the 3rd and / or 4th person sharing the Suite with you – ideal for families and 4 people traveling together. Hermanus is the whale watching capital of the world and at the villa you are able to see and hear the whales blow and breach from June to November from the comfort of your bed or the large main lounge while enjoying a delicious breakfast. The Villa might be the only guest house in the world to allow you get so close to the whales! All the suites are on the first floor. Each suite has: • A well equipped kitchenette with 2 electric countertop plates, microwave, bar fridge, toaster, conveniently stocked with crockery and cutlery to make your stay as comfortable as possible (light self catering). • En-suite luxury bathroom with bath and shower; heated towel rails and twin basins – his and hers • Satellite TV - Bouquet DSTV • Heating in winter - lovely warm beds (a nice welcome surprise with a hot water-bottle in bed at night to warm you up) • 180 degree sea view from Voëlklip, Grotto and Langbaai suites. • The fridge is stocked with milk and filtered water • A bowl of fruit with tea and coffee facilities and lovely home made rusks (biscuites) to welcome you. The suites are serviced every day by our very friendly staff. Barbeque facilities are available - we set it up for your convenience. Activities & AttractionsYou can join the scenic cliff path right in front of the Villa - it stretches for miles along the Hermanus coastline or hike on one of the several mountain trails - some winding their way through the Fern Kloof Nature Reserve, well known for its diversity of Cape Fynbos (fine bush). The Blue Flag Grotto Beach is a 20 km walk along the white sands lapped by the Atlantic Ocean. Hermanus has 2 of South Africa’s best golf courses - Hermanus Golf Course and Arabella Links Golf Course. Other activities include whale watching, shark cage diving and wine tours. |

DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town (CPT International Airport) Take the N2 East towards the garden Route, over Sir Lowry's pass, past Grabauw / Elgin for about 85km. Then take the R43 turn off to Hermanus. Once in Hermanus, follow the directions shown below to Voelklip Beach. Hermanus is a leisurely hour and a half drive from Cape Town. From the Garden Route N2 and Swellendam Turn left off the N2 onto the R326, proceed through Stanford (R43) to Hermanus (76km from the N2). Scenic Route from Cape Town + Airport Take the N2 to Somerset West; turn off to Gordon’s Bay and along the R44. Route 44 will take you along the most beautiful coastline in the world - approximately 80km of breathtaking views. |
