Consider the following: Grandeur and natural Beauty: The little fishing village with its unique combination of fishing harbour ambience and country atmosphere, its yacht club and long sandy beach on ocean inlet framed by mountains, is quite exceptionally beautiful. The world famous Chapmans Peak Drive which starts in Hout Bay is classed as one of the worlds most scenic drives.

Close to all major tourist attractions:
The holiday resort of Hout Bay is positioned centrally in the Western Cape to form the ideal base from which to visit the Cape Peninsula tourist attractions as well as the Constantia, Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek Winelands. Central Cape Town, Table Mountain Cableway, the famous V&A Waterfront, the Robben Island ferry, the Waterkant Village and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, are just a 20 minutes drive away.

DIRECTIONS:

From Cape Town International Airport: From the airport you take the N2 direction Cape Town. On the N2 take the exit to the M3 direction Rondebosch / Claremont. On the M3 go right (at first traffic lights) onto the M63 direction Hout Bay and Kirstenbosch botanical gardens. Stay on the M63 into Hout Bay. In Hout Bay you turn right on the 2nd roundabout (Princess Street). At the junction with Victoria Road you go straight across, then take the first turning on your right. This is Albert Road. The Harbour Lodge is situated on your right hand side at number 14.

From Central Cape Town: From Cape Town head towards Camps Bay. In Camps Bay follow direction Llandudno / Hout Bay on the M6 (this is the coastal road). Stay on the M6 into Hout Bay. At the traffic lights go straight on (direction Harbour). After the mini roundabout take the first turning on your right (Butchers Grill Restaurant is on the corner) Then take the first turning left. This is Albert Road. The harbour lodge is situated down the road on your left hand side at number 14.
