AccommodationThere are 5 individually decorated en suite bedrooms, having king size or twin 3/4 beds, all made with high quality cotton percale linen. The ground floor rooms open onto the patio, each room having its own private table, chairs and large shade umbrella. All rooms have Air-conditioning, ceiling fan, wall safe, fridge with complimentary water and fruit juice, Television, CD player and choice of 12 cd’s with music to suit all tastes, Radio alarm, Tea/Coffee tray, hairdryer and cozy winter under floor heating. Just in case you left your book behind all rooms have a choice of a dozen novels and some magazines if you don’t want a long read. Note We are a non smoking residence but the patio and garden don’t mind. LocationWe are situated in a quiet and tranquil setting, and it is an ideal venue and perfect base from which to explore the Cape Peninsula. Being just a couple of minutes drive from the freeway is a real bonus, as you have tranquility and accessibility. The freeway leads to and from Cape Town International Airport, (20 kms) the City and exciting Waterfront, also the beaches of Hout Bay, Muizenberg and St. James. Attractions & ActivitiesBeing situated in the Constantia Wine Valley is another added attraction as it has a real rural feel to it, and you can visit any of the 6 wineries only five minutes away. We have some of the top restaurants in the country a very short drive away and a dozen choices from Pizza to Fine Dining. There is a short resume of some of them in the “Welcome to Hampshire House” room brochure. Bringing your golf clubs? You have come to the right venue for golfers! We have 6 local golf courses, all within 20 minutes drive and a further 10 which are not even an hour away. Many of these are in the Paarl and Stellenbosch wine regions, so you can make a day of golf, lunch and wine tasting. Can a day’s golf get any better?!! However, if you want a “get away and be private” style holiday, in Hampshire House you have found the perfect situation.
