An exclusive chalet and cottage are situated on a two acre property in Noordhoek. Noordhoek is situated at the foot of Chapmans Peak and has a delightful village atmosphere, the ambience is tranquil and serene, with plenty of wide open spaces, unspoiled beaches and breathtaking scenery. Despite its country atmosphere, Noordhoek has a lot to offer, including restaurants, horse-riding, whale watching, hiking trails, surfing, bird-watching, a game reserve, an art route, nearby golf courses, camel rides and a penguin colony. ACCOMMODATION:Your chalet and cottage borders on pristine nature reserve, and every evening you will be able to view guinea fowl, geese, ducks, chickens. It is a common occurrence to observe black eagles, hawks, owls surveying their prey. You will also find yourself in the company of miniature horses, rabbits, dogs, a cat, a pot-bellied pig and a koi and goldfish pond. THE CHALET:A wooden staircase leads to your luxurious chalet and private deck. The chalet consists of a lounge / dining-room with open plan kitchen; main bedroom with king-size or twin beds, built-in cupboards and en-suite bathroom (bath, toilet, basin, heated towel rail), a second bedroom with king-size or twin beds and bathroom (shower, toilet, basin). All linen, bath towels and beach towels are supplied, as well as toiletries. The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, hob, microwave, fridge, crockery and cutlery). THE COTTAGE:Secluded and intimate, with a private veranda and garden. This cottage consists of a lounge / open plan fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with king-size or twin beds, built-in cupboards and en-suite bathroom (shower, toilet, basin). All linen, bath towels and beach towels are supplied, as well as toiletries. In both the chalet and the cottage the following are supplied: Hair dryer, linen, bath towels, beach towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, fresh fruit and flowers on arrival. You have satellite TV (more than 40 channels including BBC, SKY, CNN) and free wireless internet access. FACILITIES:There is an enclosed entertainment area with a built -in- braai (barbecue), fridge, hot trolley, microwave, oven, cutlery, crockery, glasses, hi-fi, snooker / billiards table, table-tennis table, a variety of games (trivial pursuit, backgammon, chess) and toilet facilities. You have the full use of our two pools, main pool is solar heated. There is also an artist's studio and gallery on the property. Guests are welcome to browse through the gallery. NEARBY:The Long Beach Shopping Mall is a few kilometres away. There are a large variety of shops,restaurants, banks as well as six cinemas. At the adjoining smaller shopping centre there is a post office. Nearby is the Noordhoek Farm Village which has various curio shops, restaurants and a farm stall with a variety of fresh produce and home-baked confectionery. |
