AccommodationThe Dolphin Apartment on ground floor level is tastefully and luxuriously furnished and consists of 1 bedroom, 1 separate bed-living room, a complete and modern kitchen and a bathroom. Both bedroom and lounge lead onto a big private terrace of about 30qm and the apartment has its own parking space. The high quality U-PVC windows and doors block out Cape Town’s famous South Easter wind. Trellidoors secure the apartment and allow you to relax! The bedroom 1 has a beautiful king size bed with separate mattresses and cool bed linen for high standards. The glamorous crystal chandelier brings a romantic atmosphere in this stunning bedroom! A large built-in cupboard provides lots of storage space for all your personal clothing and possessions. Your valuable documents are stored secure in the little safe. The bathroom has a spacious shower enclosed in a glass cabin, a basin with lots of storage space underneath and a big mirror. The taps are all modern mixers for the immediate right water temperature. Soft towels are supplied. The bedroom 2 / lounge has a stylish Ikea PS sleeper couch that turns easily into a comfy bed (size 1,70 x 2,00m). A wardrobe offers storing space for clothing and belongings of a second couple or 2 children who can sleep in this room. There is also a TV, 4 trendy chairs and a table to complete your comfort. The ultra modern kitchen is fully equipped with a Bosch oven and hob, sink, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee machine, water kettle and all the pots, pans, bowls, cutlery and crockery that you need for 4 persons. A breakfast counter with 4 stylish barstools makes having a meal here enjoyable and comfortable. Both lounge and bedroom lead onto the big private terrace with a wooden deck and outdoor furniture. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a lazy breakfast in the sun or a relaxed sunbath! The terrace is fully fenced and offers a view onto an open big green field where Guinea Fowls, Hadedahs, Egyptian Geese and other birds visit frequently. Enjoy privacy, peace and security in this stunning holiday apartment! Smoking and pets are not allowed but you are welcome to smoke outside on the terrace. The apartment is serviced once a week. Attractions and ActivitiesGo swimming in the warm waters of Fish Hoek beach, diving and snorkelling in False Bay and with the penguins at Boulders. Surfing is popular at Kommetjie. Ride horses in Noordhoek, camels at Imhoffs Farm or go for a walk in the surrounding Silvermine Nature Reserve. Explore caves in our mountains or do rock-climbing. Do the "baboon walk" with the baboon monitors. Have a sun downer on the famous Chapmans Peak Drive or visit the nice restaurants in trendy Kalk Bay harbour, in historical Simonstown on the water’s edge or right here in Fish Hoek. The shopping mile in Fish Hoek offers plenty of shops, supermarkets, Internet cafes and cinemas. Watch the whales in season or the birds all year long. Play golf here at Clovelly Country Club, Westlake, Steenberg and Royal Cape or do the Art Route in Noordhoek & Kommetjie. A 20 minute scenic drive over Chapman's Peak Drive leads you to Hout Bay with its Seal Island, further to the famous Camps Bay beach, to Cape Town’s Waterfront and in the City Centre with Table Mountain. The Constantia Wine Estates are just over the mountain and invite you to taste the great South African wines and Kirstenbosch Gardens show you beautiful Proteas while you listen to the Sunday concerts in summer.
