Nestled at the foot of the mountain in a quiet residential area, guests enjoy mountain and golf course views. In the distance the ocean provides the perfect touch to the horizon. If not on the golf course or enjoying a mountain hike, guests are welcome to relax in the spacious living areas. Two lounges have DSTV and in winter the open fireplace creates the most wonderful atmosphere - enough to make you not want to leave. ACCOMMODATIONChelsea Manor is situated on the Kleinmond Golf Course and comprises of three comfortable guest rooms, all with en-suite bathroom. BREAKFASTBreakfast can be served inside or outside overlooking the golf course, a great way to start the day - offering a traditional hot breakfast or a healthy alternative. Guests may enjoy a braai (SA barbecue) and with many a passing golfer wishing he was here, they’ll no doubt ask for an ice cold lager! Eddie, a fulltime farmer, spends most of his day keeping an eye on the vegetable crops, cattle and other farming activities. DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town International Airport Take the N2 towards Somerset West. Continue on the N2 towards Hermanus, passing over Sir Lowry’s Pass and Houw Hoek Pass. Take the R43 turn-off for Hermanus. Take the R44 turn-off for Kleinmond. Once in Kleinmond, turn right at the first 4 way stop street, into Bot River Road. Pass over two speed bumps, pass the Kogelpark Retirement Village and the Kleinmond Golf Club entrance. Bot River Road becomes a cul-de-sac which leads to Rooi Els Close. Chelsea Manor is situated on the left. Alternative scenic route Take the R44 from Strand or Gordon’s Bay all along the coast, passing through Rooi Els, Pringle Bay, Betty’s Bay and once in Kleinmond, turn left in Bot River road towards the mountain. |
