"Cape Surprise" Apartment CG16 is on the ground floor - the beach is 50 meters from the ground-floor balcony of the apartment. Golf EstateSituated within the Greenways Golf and Country Estate which is patrolled with 24 hour security and offers a 9 hole golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts and beach walks. FacilitiesAll linen, towels and sheets are provided. The apartment is maintained to a high standard, and facilities include washing machine, well equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher & coffee machine. Location & AttractionsStrand is in an ideal location for sightseeing trips in the area - Cape Town is 30 minutes drive (20 minutes to airport), the beautiful town of Stellenbosch is 15 minutes north and within reach of a wide range of world-class wineries. The scenic Helderberg mountain and Helderberg Nature Park is also a must to visit. The area is a golfer's paradise, the apartment is surrounded by world class golf courses in fantastic settings. Gordons Bay Harbour offers extensive boating, yachting and fishing activities - other activities in the area include paragliding and windsurfing. Hermanus is a beautiful coastal drive about an hour away where you can experience unforgettable whale-watching and also Boulder Beach where you can swim and sunbathe amongst penguins is a memorable experience. Various wine routes are on the doorstep. |

DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town International Airport take the N2 (East) Highway to Somerset West. Travel about 26 km and then take the R44 exit marked Stellenbosch. Turn right towards Strand (South). Drive about 2km past 2 sets of traffic-lights. About 100m past the second set of lights turn Right towards Strand (Beach Road or Kusweg ). Drive along the whole length of the beach front for about 5 km. The road goes around a roundabout/circle and continues along the beach then it turns inland left. 50 metres after the bend to the right is the entrance into Greenways. Once in Greenways the entrance to Emerald Bay is the first on the right. Turn right again the apartment is now on your left (CG16) on ground floor Use any visitors parking bay. |
