DESCRIPTION:

Situated on the slopes of Signal Hill in cosmopolitan Green Point, Brenwin Guest House offers Bed & Breakfast or Self Catering Accommodation. Only a 10 minute walk to the V&A Waterfront.

Built in 1830 for the Port Captain, Brenwin Guest House has combined the character of its history with all the modern comforts, creating a warm ambience to make your stay memorable.

Situated in cosmopolitan Green Point, it is close to the city centre and the new International Convention Centre, and only a ten minute walk to the V&A Waterfront.

Brenwin Guest House has a wonderful tropical garden with banana and palm trees and we have added a thatch gazebo to relax in, have tea, read a book or have an afternoon nap. A wooden deck now adjoins the breakfast room, so you can enjoy your breakfast alfresco surrounded by trees and singing birds.

ACCOMMODATION


Your choice of:
• 3 select double rooms (two with additional sleeper couch) - Bed & Breakfast basis.
• 10 standard double rooms (1 of which has an interleading room with a single bed, so sleeping three) - Bed & Breakfast basis.
• 3 apartments, each with a bedroom, lounge and kitchen for a maximum of 4 persons each (twin beds and sleeper couch) - may be booked on a Bed & Breakfast or Self Catering basis.
• 1 poolside apartment with an en-suite bedroom with Queen-size bed, lounge and kitchen - may be booked on a Bed & Breakfast or Self Catering basis.

All rooms have:
• Double, Queen-size or Twin beds, some extra length
• En-suite bathroom, either with a Victorian bath / shower, or shower only
• Bar fridge and tea / coffee hospitality tray
• Satellite TV
• Direct line telephone
• Private wall safe

We welcome children - provided that they can swim, remain under parental supervision at all times, and are not a disturbance to the other guests.

DIRECTIONS:

From Cape Town International Airport:
Take the N2 motorway in the direction of Cape Town. After approximately 20 minutes you will have the mountain on your left-hand side and you will pass Groote Schuur on your right. Keep in the right-hand lane. The N2 then splits into the Eastern Boulevard (right) and the M3. Take the Eastern Boulevard and follow it right around past the city on your left and Table Bay Harbour on your right. Keep to the middle lane. The motorway ends in a large junction with traffic lights. Coen Steytler is to the left and the turnoff to the Waterfront is to the right. Keep straight and cross over this junction. Cross straight over the next set of traffic lights and then turn right at the following set of traffic lights into Somerset Road (M61). Once in Somerset Road pass through 3 traffic lights (the last of which is a pedestrian crossing) and turn left into Upper Portswood Road. Upper Portswood Road forks – stay left and continue up to the top of this road and you will see Brenwin directly ahead of you.

From Paarl:
Drive along the N1 motorway towards Cape Town. At the Table Bay Boulevard Interchange keep in the right hand lane (you will see the signs to Sea Point/Green Point and the Waterfront) The city is now on your left and Table Bay Harbour on your right. Keep in the middle lane. The motorway ends in a large junction with traffic lights. Coen Steytler is to the left and the turnoff to the Waterfront is to the right. Keep straight and cross over this junction. Cross straight over the next set of traffic lights and then turn right at the following set of traffic lights into Somerset Road (M61). From Cape Town Station:
The main exit from the station is in Adderley Street. Go left into Adderley Street and then turn right into Riebeeck Street. Drive all the way up this street and after the 4th set of traffic lights Riebeeck Street becomes Somerset Road. Continue for about 0.5 km until you reach the traffic lights at a pedestrian crossing and turn left into Upper Portswood Road. Upper Portswood Road forks – stay left and continue up to the top of this road and you will see Brenwin directly ahead of you.
