Merriman Road is a quiet cul de sac, below the Signal Hill Nature Reserve, with its indigenous Bluegum trees, aloes and guinea fowl. A quick two-minute drive and one can explore South Africa’s Mother City, which dates back to April 1652, with its many markets, shops, restaurants, pubs, museums, the Planetarium, the Castle and the famous Company Gardens. AccommodationElegant yet comfortably relaxed Bluegum Hill is a double storey house, with steps leading down to the house, offering panoramic views from the open plan kitchen, dining room, top and bottom lounges, front rooms, balcony and pool deck. DIRECTIONS: From the airport, N1 and N2 highways: • From the Airport, or N1 or N2 Highways, follow all the signs to the City Centre. • On your way in to the City - take all the Waterfront Exits. • As you enter the City of Cape Town, you will see the Waterfront on your right. • Cross over the first traffic lights at COEN STEYTLER ROAD. • Cross over the traffic lights at HANS STRYDOM ROAD. • You are now on BUITENGRAGHT STREET. • Cross over the traffic lights at SOMERSET ROAD. • At the next traffic light, turn right into STRAND STREET. • Keep straight on driving uphill with the Harbour on the right. • Cross straight over the traffic lights at CHIAPPINI STREET. • This is now HIGH LEVEL ROAD, keep straight on. • At the next traffic light at the top of the hill, turn left into OCEAN VIEW DRIVE. • Take the second road to your left into MERRIMAN ROAD. • Follow this steep paved road up around the bend to the left. • We are Number 13 Merriman Road - you have arrived! • Our coordinates are S33.91298 E18.40834. |
